Installing Data Abstract in Water

There are several ways to install Data Abstract on your system and integrate it with Water.

• "Data Abstract for .NET" will install support for building .NET based clients and servers using the Oxygene, C#, Swift and Java languages
• "Data Abstract for Water and Visual Studio" will install support for building .NET-based clients and servers, as well as building clients for Cocoa and Java using Elements.

Installing Data Abstract will also install a matching version of Remoting SDK.

Data Abstract supports every official release of Water.

Trial

The trial version is fully functional without any technical limitations, however your apps will display a trial message when run and are not licensed for distribution. IDE functionality will disable after the 30-day trial period is over.

Full Version

Installing the full version of Data Abstract is easy. Simply download the installer from the licensed downloads page, and run it. You can update from the trial to the full version, and update to newer versions, without needing to uninstall.
